stolen moments,

mishaps,

and allowing children to have waaaay more unsupervised time than they should have

(especially this mischievous little one who managed to 'trap' herself by winding countless yards of thread around her body. "help, momma! i trap me!" she calls out. 'help, momma' is right! she makes me want to fall over in fits of laughter, that silly goose.),

have finally led to this...

it may not look like much now, but this is one big stack of happiness!

and it's getting packed up and heading out into the world tomorrow afternoon (or at the absolute latest, saturday morning...*thank you* mimi + pops for having the girls for a sleepover tomorrow night!), with a couple of little friends stowing away in the box. fingers crossed that the journey is short and safe!
You must have been so hard-working to make such a big and beautiful pile of work. I certainly hope that it gets safely through the mail. It would be heartbreaking if all that lovely stuff was lost in the mail!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos of everyday life in your house. That kind of photos are definitely the best to capture life with children. A tresure for your children now and in the future.
And the little sweet one who found new ways to use thread, would have made me giggle too. :))
Have a lovely weekend, Cathy. :))

Funny how quickly they learn "help, Momma!" My nephew, now almost five, used to yell "help!" when he got himself in a predicament, but I don't think he ever wrapped himself in thread! That's so cute. = )
ReplyDeleteWhew! I need to take you out to celebrate soon :)
ReplyDeleteulla, i made sure that i ensured it! i thought that a million dollars may have been overkill, so i went with a more reasonable amount. ;) i find that i am taking more photos to capture the everday stuff now that i am doing 365. i am proud to say that i haven't missed a day yet.
ReplyDeletecurlygirl, the cute factor does definitely work in their favor!!
beki, i still have writing to do, and then it is most surely a date!!!!! :)
